During the free survey we will discuss your ideas and take some measurements to help us provide an accurate quote. We will post your free no obligation quote to your home address within 5 working days.
If you choose us, the price you sign up to will remain fixed. If you wish to add on extras, we can discuss your ideas and budget before we amend the price of the original quote. No extras will be carried out without your written confirmation.
We use quality materials, experienced architects and skilled tradesmen, whilst keeping our prices competitive. We will work within your budget to produce the most cost-effective loft conversion for you. During the initial free survey, we will discuss affordable loft conversion styles, floor plans and finishing touches.
We provide a stage payment scheme, so the total quoted amount is split into 5 payments. A small deposit and 4 subsequent payments are due once a building stage has been completed, with the final payment made only when all the agreed work has been signed off.
MANAGEMENT & COMMUNICATION
Frequent face to face meetings will be agreed in the project schedule to discuss the progress and answer any questions you have regarding your loft conversion. When building commences, your dedicated site manager will be at your home every day and will also be available to answer any questions you have. We will also promptly answer any questions you have by phone or email.
DESIGN & PLANNING PERMISSION
We have carefully hand-picked architects, who will provide detailed drawings of your new loft conversion. Once you are happy with the design, we will ensure the necessary planning permission is granted by your local authority, structural engineer design checks and party-wall agreements have been carried out. We are also happy to work alongside your own architect and structural engineer.
We usually allow up to 8 weeks for loft conversion construction to be completed but depending on the type of loft conversion it can be as little as 4 weeks. We work to a well-planned building schedule which allows us to remain punctual and efficient, whilst maintaining a high standard of build.
CONSTRUCTION & BUILDING CONTROL
On the first day of construction your site manager will ensure that you are introduced to your dedicated site team. We carefully select our tradesmen to ensure you receive the highest quality of workmanship. We also prepare and submit all building and fire regulations and arrange the mandatory site visits from building control.
Quality control is a vital aspect to the work we produce, which is why your site manager oversees all aspects of the build. The site team will be fully briefed each day by the site manager to ensure that design is carried out as planned. We do not take any shortcuts when it comes to quality, we have our own rigorous checks which are carried out daily.
During construction we will take every step necessary to maintain a high standard of site tidiness, cleanliness and reducing noise where possible. Allowing you to safely reside within your home and carry on with your day to day life during the build.
Upon completion of your new loft conversion, your site manager will provide you with all the relevant documentation, including your 10-year warranty. We will also arrange two follow up appointments, the first one will be 2-3 weeks after building completion to make you sure are happy and settled into your new living space. The second appointment will be 6-9months, to repair any settlement cracks.
